Sarah  4 yrs ,  f,  sable and white , blind, but some hearing

We are sad to report that after a wonderful, but all too short life with Tammy and Bobby, Sarah passed. She was loved intensely and is dearly missed.

RIP dear Sarah

Hi, my name is Sarah.  I'm about 4.5 years old.
I'm a GORGEOUS AND SWEET sable-merle, white headed white collie. [wow that's a mouthful!]  Don't ask why anyone would throw me away... cause I don't know! I am a real cuddlebug and very loving.
I came to rescue with my friend Susie. I'm not sure if we're related. But 'mom' feels we'll do just fine separated.
Both of us were brought to Miami-Dade Animal services as stray's. Anyway, who knows if we're really strays because we may have been dumped due to our condition.
You see, YOU can see, but I can't!
I am blind but I can hear a little.
I'm a very happy girl. And once I get to know your place, you'd hardly know I had these issues. Auntie Felicia says there are many training sites to teach you ...and me, all about happily living blind and nearly deaf.
I do have one little problem.. I had some fatty tumors removed and they found that the one on my head was really a mast cell cancer tumor grade 1. Mom did some research and found that tit has a 90+% recovery rate. Doc said that they are pretty common and he got it all. So hopefully i'll have a long and great life.
Just wanted you to know to keep watch when YOU adopt me!!!
CFR requires a fenced yard, no pool, unless barricaded and yes, you can train me... slowly.... to have fun in the pool.
She also says that she's adopted out  other collies like me and that their new families say they were their best collies ever.
Mom Judy was really worried about taking us in, but after a few days she says she didn't know it would be so easy!
I hope you'll take a chance on me. I'd love to be your new companion. I promise to make you smile a lot! Oh, and Iā€™m also OK with cats
